MINI-ANGKOR ADVENTURE – 4 days

This is a fun itinerary for the young at heart, with no fitness training required.  The cycling and landscape is flat and the trekking easy-going.  It is a beautiful way to explore Angkor Wat and the surrounding countryside, soaking up the magic of the temples and stopping along the way to visit friendly villages.  You may choose your level of accommodation in Siem Reap.

 

 

DAY 1   SIEM REAP – ROLOUS GROUP – TONLE SAP LAKE (Cycle 60 km)

Depart Siem Reap by bike, passing through scenic villages and countryside.  Stop to visit a Pre-Angkorian temple in Rolous Group including Preah Ko and Lo Lei.  In the afternoon, continue cycling on back roads through the village to take a boat trip on Tonle Sap lake.  Overnight in Siem Reap (B,L)

 

DAY 2   SIEM REAP – SVAY LEU – PHNOM KULEN – SIEM REAP (Trek 15 km)

Early morning, transfer to Svay Leu.  Here trek to explore Phnom Kulen through dense forests, local villages and countryside.  Once on top of Phnom Kulen enjoy the great views over the plains below.  There is a waterfall for a swimming, a Pagoda and a river of a thousand Lingas.  After this visit, transfer back to Siem Reap for the night. DAY 3   SIEM REAP – ANGKOR (Cycle 25 km)

After breakfast, cycle a small circuit of the Angkor national park to visit South Gate of Angkor Thom.  Then onto Bayon temple and the untouched Ta Phrom temple embraced by giant trees and vines.  For lunch choose one of the many restaurants or vendors in front of Angkor Wat.  Explore Angkor Wat before cycling back to hotel. DAY 4   ANGKOR – GRAND TEMPLE CIRCUIT (Cycle 40 km)

Today cycle to the Grand Circuit to visit Prah Khan, Neak Poan, East Mebon and Pre Rup, stopping along the way to explore the temples (B,L)

 

DAY 5   SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI (Cycle 70 km)

Today you will visit the Banteay Srei temple.  This impressive temple is located 35 km away from Siem Reap and is a beautiful ride through the flat countryside.  Arrive back into the city at late afternoon. (B,L)

Payment.

 

1. On acceptance - £150 per person, Acceptance Payment/Deposit (non refundable) by cheque payable to “S W & M Miller”.

 

Your Contract for all tour arrangements is directly with our Associate Company in Vietnam to whom payment for the tour is made.

 

2. You pay eight weeks prior to arrival in Cambodia or on Acceptance - 50% payable in US $, by Credit Card or International Bank Transfer, direct to Buffalo Tours, Vietnam

 

3. On arrival in Cambodia – the balance of 50% is payable, in US $, by Credit Card or Cash.

Cancellation Charges

35 days prior to arrival a cancellation fee of US$200 per person will be applicable.
30 days notice of cancellation a fee of 25% of the total amount will be applicable.
25 days notice of cancellation a fee of 50% of the total amount will be applicable
Less than 25 days notice incurs the full amount.

· Accommodation on a twin sharing basis in the hotels

· Use of bicycle

· Reasonable supply of bottled water – in ice box in vehicle.

· All transfers, transport and sightseeing excursions as outlined in the itinerary

· Services of an English speaking tour leader throughout

· Entrance fees at monuments and parks where applicable

· Train journeys where applicable

· Domestic economy airfares, (Phnom Penh/Some Reap) are subject to change.

· Basic porterage at airports, rail stations and hotels (not tips).

· All currently applicable taxes.

Excluded from the Cost

· Expenses of a personal nature such as table drinks, laundry, telephone calls, Internet charges, mineral water, tips, shopping etc.

· Any other meals or services not mentioned in the itinerary or ‘includes’ list.

· Any international airfares to India and Asia

· Any airport taxes where applicable in each country

· Any subsequent increase in airfares, fuel costs, monuments/sightseeing fees.

· Any other taxes subsequently introduced by Government, State or Tourist Ministry.

· Travel Insurance

· Visa Fees, if applicable, in any country

· Any Christmas, New Year and Gala Dinners
