Itinerary for 6 nights/7 days allowing for dental treatment
4 Nights Kovalam 2 Nights Alleppey/ Cochin

Day 01 Trivandrum – Kovalam

On arrival at Trivandrum Airport meet and transfer to Kovalam. Check into your hotel/resort, day free. Evening enjoy a candle lit dinner (not included) overlooking the beach.
Overnight, stay at hotel/resort.

Day 02 Kovalam

In the morning enjoy a sight seeing tour of Trivandrum including Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple. In the evening visit the dental clinic to consult with the dentist and discuss treatment, (see below) how many sittings are required, finalise the budget and payment option. If time permits the first phase of the treatment can be started on the same day.
Overnight, stay at hotel/resort.

Day 03 Kovalam

After breakfast visit the, Museum, Veli Lake and Planetarium. In the evening (or at your convenience) proceed to dental clinic to start, or continue your treatment.
Overnight, stay at hotel/resort.

Day 04 Kovalam – Alleppey (3 hrs drive)

Proceed to Alleppey to stay at a Backwaters resort OR on a house boat. Enjoy Backwaters sight seeing, toddy tapping, paddy fields, narrow canals, river, village life.
Overnight, stay at resort OR on the house boat.

Day 05 Alleppey – Cochin (1 hrs drive)

Travel to Cochin by road view Mattancherry Island, Jewish synagogue and Chinese fishing nets. In the evening enjoy a performance of the tradition art of Kathakali – the dance drama of Kerala.
Overnight, stay at the hotel.

Day 06 Cochin – Kovalam (4hrs drive)

After breakfast at the hotel return to Kovalam and check into your hotel/resort. If a continuation of treatment is required, such as fixing of crowns or bridges, proceed to the dental clinic. Otherwise the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 07 Kovalam – Trivandrum

Transfer in time to connect with your departure flight from Trivandrum International Airport.

HOUSEBOAT OPTION

DAY 04: KOVALAM – ALLEPPY – KUMARAKOM (houseboat) (B,L,D)

After breakfast drive to Alleppey. On arrival, check in at the HOUSEBOAT for an overnight cruise through the world famous backwaters of Kerala from Alleppey
Kumarakom.
A cruise on the house boat is the best way to experience the beautiful backwaters. Alleppey has a large network of canals and is a centre for backwater cruises in our state. The famous Nehru Trophy Boat race – the most colourful of boat races, is held here on the second Saturday of August every year. During the cruise you will have stops to go for short walks through the villages. Overnight, stay on board the boat.

Payment.

1. On acceptance – £150 per person, Acceptance Payment/Deposit (non refundable) by cheque payable to “S W & M Miller”.
Your Contract for all tour arrangements is directly with our Associate Company in India to whom payment for the tour is made. Your contract for Dental Treatment is directly with Global Dental Solutions and should be paid for at the time.
2. Eight weeks prior to arrival in India or on Acceptance – 50% payable in £s, by Credit Card or International Bank Transfer, direct to India
3. On arrival in India– 50% payable, in £s, by Credit Card or Cash.
Cancellation Charges
35 days prior to arrival a cancellation fee of £200 per person will be applicable.
30 days notice of cancellation a fee of 25% of the total amount will be applicable.
25 days notice of cancellation a fee of 50% of the total amount will be applicable
Less than 25 days notice incurs the full amount.

Included in the Cost

• Accommodation on a twin sharing basis in the hotels mentioned above or equivalent – subject to availability.
• Any single room subject to supplement shown.
• Room and breakfast basis – or meals as indicated in the itinerary (B), (L) and (D)
• Full board at Wildlife Park if applicable.
• All transfers, sightseeing and excursions by air-conditioned vehicle where appropriate.
• Services of an English speaking local guide (or a naturalist in National Parks)
• Entrance fees at monuments and parks where applicable
• Train journeys where applicable
• International and Domestic economy airfares in Asia, indicated in the itinerary, are subject to change.
• Basic porterage at airports, rail stations and hotels (not tips).
• All currently applicable taxes.
• All transportation in the Philippines by land, sea private vehicle

Excluded from the Cost

• Expenses of a personal nature such as table drinks, laundry, telephone calls, Internet charges, mineral water, tips, shopping etc.
• Any other meals or services not mentioned in the itinerary or ‘includes’ list.
• Any international airfares to India and Asia
• Any airport taxes where applicable in each country
• Any subsequent increase in airfares, fuel costs, monuments/sightseeing fees.
• Any other taxes subsequently introduced by Government, State or Tourist Ministry.
• Travel Insurance
• Visa Fees, if applicable, in any country
• Any Christmas, New Year and Gala Dinners

Dental Treatment costs as follows:

Dental Implants –about £500 per implant – compared with UK price of £1500 to £2000. Please ask for a quotation to suit your particular case. Number of visits will depend upon the number and type of implants and any ancillary work required.

• Special investigations by other departments, if required, may be charged extra.
• All other major areas of treatment are available on request.
• Credit card payments attract a 2% surcharge

Please note that Dental Treatments are NOT included in the tour cost. Your contract for Dental Treatment will be with Global Dental Solutions, Trivandrum and you will pay them direct at the time of the treatment. Complete India & Asia will co-ordinate the initial arrangements for you.

We act only as a ‘go between’ to introduce you to the dental clinic. We do not have knowledge of dental procedures and are unable to tender any advice in this regard.
