Beijing, Xian, Guilin & Shanghai

Day 1 Arrival / Beijing                         
Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement
Upon arriving at the Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

Day 2 Beijing (B, L) In the morning, you will visit the Temple of Heaven where you can see the local people do morning exercise and play Taiji. Later, you will visit the largest city square in the world Tiananmen Square, and the magnificent Forbidden City.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L)
This day's tour will include the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section, fee of cable car excluded) and Qianmen Ancient Shopping Street.

Day 4 Beijing / Xian (B, L)
Transfer via: Train on our arrangement (soft sleeper, 4pax share one cabin)
After breakfast, you will visit some of Beijing's Hutongs by rickshaw, during which you will pay a visit to one of the local families. Lunch will be served in the local's home. In the afternoon you will visit Beijing Folklore Museum. After the tour, you will be escorted to the station for your overnight train to Xian.

Day 5 Xian (B, L)
Upon your arrival in the morning, you will be met and transferred to the hotel for breakfast. Then you will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors in the morning. After lunch, you will visit the Ancient City Walls.

Day 6 Xian / Guilin (B, L)
Transfer via: Internal flight on our arrangement
After breakfast, you will travel to Huxian County to see the farmers painting and you also have chance to learn how to paint before your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival in Guilin, the most scenic city in China, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this dynamic city for a little adventure on your own.

Day 7 Guilin / Yangshuo   (B, L)                    
After breakfast, you will be driven to Zhujiang Pier (40-minute drive) to start your boat cruise down the picturesque Li River (lunch will be served on board), which is the highlight of any visit to Guilin, until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes. Visitors feel they have stepped into a traditional Chinese painting. After checking into your hotel, you will be taken by electric bus to Yangzhou’s beautiful country side. Along the route you will pass serene pastoral view, fantastic limestone mountains, peaceful farming villages, and roaming water buffaloes.

 Day 8 Yangshuo / Guilin/Shanghai (B, L)

On this day you will have a very special cooking class. Your teacher will accompany you to a local market to purchase the ingredients you need to cook Guilin’s local cuisine (the charge of the ingredients will be paid on site). You will learn to cook the daily cuisine of the local people before sitting down to enjoy the food that you just learned to prepare. Afterwards, you will be driven back to Guilin. Then take flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this amazing city for an adventure on your own.

Day 9 Shanghai (B, L)
On this day you will visit Yu Garden, observe local people’s life at the Yuyuan Market, Shanghai Old Street and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the Jade Buddha Temple.

Day 10 Shanghai / Suzhou/Shanghai (B, L)
Transfer via: Private vehicle on our arrangement
On this morning you will be driven to Suzhou (about 1.5 hours drive). You will arrive in Suzhou in the late morning with your local Shanghai guide and personal driver. Your tour in Suzhou includes: the quiet Lingering Garden and Pingjiang Old Street. Enjoy the gentle breeze while cruise on the Grand Canal. Later visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how the pure silk products are made from a small cocoon. You will be driven back to Shanghai after your tour of Suzhou.

Day 11 Shanghai / Departure (B)
Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement
You will be free on this day until your personal guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your sweet home.
